This chain of fry shops “Belgian style” started in 2003 in Hungary and counts 6 11 outlets at the moment, including 1 in Spain I understand.

On their website they claim to be part of a chain of 166 fry shops in Belgium.

The BESTFRIT network has 166 units in Belgium. Offering a wide range it has soon become a popular food chain. The guests know that the name Bestfrit is associated with constantly high quality and always fresh pommes frits. Due to the big success the first Belgian buffet was opened in Hungary in summer 2003.

All I know (and I live in this country :-)) is that Best-Frit is an organisation that is trying to be a quality label for Belgian Fries. Which is a good idea, no doubt about that. But only 166 fry shop members out of ca. 4.000 fry shops in Belgium …. still a long way to go.

According to their website they serve freshly cut potatoes and some typical Belgian snacks (curryworst, meatballs)

No idea about the quality of their fries, but given the owners are Belgian, I assume they must be good.
