Belgian fries conquering the World? Latest rumours …

vladimirMany have tried to copy the Belgian Fries concept all over the world, sadly a lot have not succeeded or just misused the name and fame of our national product.

Latest gossip has it people are trying to set up “Belgian Fry Shops” in China, Singapore  ((I am not talking about the non-so-very-belgian fry shop Yellow Fellas – see some other post))  and Istanbul. I sincerely hope they know what they are talking about. They can always contact me to have some basic (or even in-dept) advise ;-)

    Hello,

I have visited Belgium many times over the years, and I have always wanted to open a frituur cart back home in the United States. I live in Austin, Texas and there is a thriving food cart community here in a very large university town…but, there is no frituur! The time is right for this type of business in Austin. My goal would be to stay true to the Belgian style frites…I want to do this right! But, I do not know where to start…I need a cart, and I need to know the secrets behind the cooking techniques…any advice??

    Thanks!
