Chips & Dips (Phuket, Thailand)

Submitted by mich on Thursday, 26 August 20103 Comments - 45,058 views

Some time ago a real Belgian frituur opened its doors in the very touristic beach town Phuket, Thailand.

Run by Belgians,  it is modelled after a typical Belgian fry shop.

The equipment includes an authentic, imported 4-pots frying machine.  The cooled counter is filled with home-made Belgian snacks such as boulette (Meatball), bitterballs, various croquettes, cervelat sausage and of course curryworst! Belgian Beef Stew is also on the menu.

I did not have the chance to visit them (yet) but I’m sure the quality must be of high standard given the fact that is run by Belgians.

Check their website for the address: www.chipsanddips.net

Update: I understand the shop has been sold. Not sure if the new owners are Belgian too, but I understand the original owners still keep an eye on the business.
